Much information, but writing is clunky and jargonish. Tiny font of print and small illustrations don't help. A good editor could have turned this into a handy mini-encyclopedia of modern architecture, for the meat of knowledge is there. Architects and architecture lovers might like it still, despite its shortcomings.
The content of the book itself is really nice and complete, albeit its format is kind of oudated. Also, I would like it to introduce more perspective around architecture from other places outside Europe and North America. The book deserves a 4 star rating, but it didn't came in perfect condition. The back cover shiny finish is starting to detach from the cover, and it makes it look old and used. Maybe it is because I live so far away (not in the US) and friction between the book and the box did that to it.

This is a MUST-BUY book for architecture students, architects and other people who have interest in architecture. KF is a very well known architecture critique, very in-depth essays collected in this book.
