I haven't wanted to throw a book against the wall this badly since I read "Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee". I have been doing ministry for years, and this book forces one to consider whole paradigms of how to "do church". I had the privilege of meeting Roy in Dallas recently, and the dude is legit. I'm excited to continue to put the DMM strategy into practice in the various areas I do ministry in, and this book is quite helpful in understanding how to try to do that. If you are involved in any kind of Great Commission church planting type stuff, this is a must read. Warning....you will not agree with everything if you are a church brat like me....hang in there, and allow the Holy Spirit to speak.

This is a good book for those who think "There must be something more," "There must be a better way to do church," There must be a better way to accomplish what Jesus told us to do - to make disciples of all nations." Roy Moran has gone on an adventure - a radical, simple attempt to leave behind non-essentials and follow principles that will yield disciple-making disciples. He invites us to follow him in this adventure and offers concrete steps for how to launch out on our own adventure in reaching the lost. He takes the kind of principles and stories found in books like Miraculous Movements (taking place in rural unreached areas) and wrestles with how something similar could maybe happen in the USA. The reason I liked reading this book is because I have been living it for a number of years now, and I know that it works. I have participated in journey groups and discovery groups and have also facilitated both. It is the most amazing feeling in the world to see someone not familiar with the Bible open it, read it, and talk about what they think that passage means and how they can apply it to their lives. I have seen this over and over again for the last few years, and, during this process with others, my reading and understanding of the Bible has also grown.So I highly recommend this book and using the discovery process to get together with your friends, neighbors, and workmates to see how God wants us to live our lives. In the process, we become disciple-making disciples.

Great book and ones that really helps you to appreciate that the whole DMM phenomena that has seen so much fruit in resistant places can actually work here in the US. THe concepts are surprisingly simple. The author takes you on his personal pilgrimage trying every discipleship method in the book. It can be a bit meandering at times but I guess it is necessary to help you realize that he has tried many different methods and this one really seems to work. Also good to see how he has contextualized the approach for American church AND American culture.

This is a book that can help change western thinking about what it means to follow Jesus and make disciples. If you are worn out from church models that keep producing the same wilted crops, then read it. You will be glad you did!

Super book that make you stop and reconsider how we are trying to grow churches, and teach members. Recommendation to read it from a friend, sure glad he told me about it.

I was about halfway through it when he signed it for me and reading this book is like entering the mind of Ben Shapiro. You are able to think like him, understand things the way he does, and you start to become almost as smart and sharp as him. Heck, the reason I have been arguing on Facebook more is because of how smart this book is making me and the way it is making me argue better.However, for all of the wonderful things associated with this book, it isn’t without flaws. When I stopped being a libertarian, one of the reasons was because I realized that a lot of libertarian sources I listen to are biased (Ron Paul Liberty Report, Julie Borowski, various libertarian websites, CATO, Reason, etc.) and Shapiro is no different. There are many claims in this book that are exaggerated (e.g the claim that liberals are not patriotic). There are many liberals and lefties I know that are very patriotic and love this country. The section on “anti-semitic bullies” was a section that I disagreed with wholeheartedly.All in all, this is an excellent book that I still cannot recommend enough- 9.3/10

I hate the fact that I have to give this book a 2 star review because I am a huge fan of Ben Shapiro, but this book really didn't seem totally objective. Everything has a bias, granted, if you set out to find a book,movie,TV show,exc that doesn't have any bias, your search will endless. That being said, this book seems to cherry pick things and not give great supporting detail to the arguments being made (not all of them, but a fair amount, Chapter 6 "green bullies" is a good example of that). One chapter in particular, chapter 7, "Secular Bullies" is essentially an argument of "secularists are all anti-religious people who couldn't care less about good god fearing people" when in actuality people who support secularism (Atheists & religious folks) simply understand that scientific (and in some cases political) ideas are best not predicated on divine reasoning. It's perfectly fine to disagree with that, however Shapiro seems to think of it with an "us vs them" mentality. This book, and what I thought of it has not made me like Ben any less, I want to make that clear. However this is certainly not his best work.With this review in mind, I would like to point out that chapter 2 "Anti-patriotic bullies" and chapter 3 "race bullies" are absolutely amazing. It is only in the latter half of the book that it really starts going down hill.

Shapiro goes into great detail to expose the lies and misinformation that is being perpetrated by the American left. The beginning of the book helps to outline the history of this behavior with examples, and in what areas of American society this toxic behavior is manifesting. Shapiro does a great job outlining what is happening and how to stop it: speak up and don't remain silent in the face of the left's intimidation tactics(punch back). I didn't like that the book appears to be very much in the moment. It examines past history of the left's behavior, but doesn't account for the possibility of major conservative victories or fighting back that happened after the fact(ex. Trump).The book is a great (recent)history lesson about the left and how their fear tactics grip different areas of American culture. With great examples and well-placed points exposing the left's idiocy, the only real downsides of the novel fail to account for are giving numerous examples of how the average American can 'punch back', which I think would have really made the book even that much better.

They have never read a single book by him, never watched a speech or listened to a pod cast. They hate him because they are told to. He is smart and in touch with what is wrong with this country, and that is what scares the left.Tired of being called a racist because you want voter ID laws, read the book. Tired of being called a racist because you did not like Obama's policies, read the book. If you are tired of being bullied into being quite and not voicing your beliefs, give this book a read.

My 8y/o checked it out and was horrified by the cartoons of naked people having sex, condoms and much more. The material in this book is inappropriate for elementary aged children and should not require cartoons to discuss the mature content. What a pathetic joke. I will raise my own child and I choose to do so w morality and dignity. We’re not Catholic but if you are this certainly trashes what the church teaches on family planning as well.

Each one begins with a stirring black and white photo, a short personal adventure experience from Eric, transitioning to a short Bible story and three “Dares” (the application portion of the devotion). Each devotion includes a bold simple application statement such as “You can’t plow straight when you’re looking over your shoulder.”Sprinkle has combined forces with Sam ‘Samantha” Evans for this well-crafted devotional. It makes a perfect gift for any Christian man. I enjoyed it and read it cover to cover. I highly recommend ADVENTURE DEVOS.W. Whether you're a thrill-seeker or prefer living vicariously from a comfy armchair, there's something in this devotional for everyone. The stories are fun and often hilarious, and illustrate biblical truths in a contemporary way that anyone can understand and relate to. The applications (in the form of dares...as in triple-dog-dares!) are challenges that anybody can try, worthwhile exercises that can't help but strengthen the reader's relationship with Christ. One of my favorites is the very last one, in which the authors' individual experiences of getting hopelessly stuck in the mud...well, you'll have to read it yourself to see how it all comes out, but as the devo states, "this is the gospel in one slimy nutshell!"

As a Pastor and a Scoutmaster, I am always looking for devotionals that can speak to the young men I work with (in both settings). Adventure Devos will be the book that I keep with me to "Be Prepared" to lead an exiting discussion of biblical truth wherever I find myself, from the deepest woods to my comfortable study! Extremely well written, very approachable.

I got a advanced readers copy in exchange for a honest review. I loved the voice of the writer, I felt right beside him on some of his adventures. I think many men will enjoy this and find it useful in their Christian journey.

I do not hike, climb, whitewater or even run, and I cannot stand leeches or polar plunges! So why am I reading this? Because the messages and illustrations of rock climbing, whitewater rafting and the other stories did indeed help me unpack biblical insights. Finally, although being very selective, the dares were helpful in the challenges of everyday life. This devotional did make God's word enjoyable through out the pages. I will take the last dare and share the book in the ways suggested and yes, even the "triple dog dare!

A friend gave this book to my husband as a gift. I thought I’d take a look and see what it was all about and I couldn’t put it down! There's something in this devotional for everyone and I recommend this book for both men and women who are looking to take their faith to the next level. You will absolutely love the stories and illustrations and the way it relates daily life to adventures with God!

We bought this book early in the summer, in its first printing. Both my husband and I have enjoyed the stories and the ways the authors have used their life stories to help teach scriptural truths. They are great short devos to use in small groups, as discussion starters, or for self-reflection. Though it is marketed for men, I have enjoyed the stories and many of them resonated with my soul. I look forward to more from these authors!

Not only because it's written in a language I could understand, but most importantly because I was getting more and more scared with each passing page.I was getting scared because I realized that I'm making the mistakes Robert talks about in the book with my own money.In The Million Dollar Decision I got many answers to the question "How I'm losing my hard earned money". The book gave me a new perspective on my finances.I think that it should be read by everyone at least once.It's a real shame that the author didn't write this book 5 or 10 years ago. If he did, my financial situation now would be quite different.

A few months ago I had the pleasure to meet Robert Rolih and his advise has impacted my investing very POSITIVELY!This book is a MUST READ as Robert his advice is straight to the point and very clear, even if you are just getting started with investing.Robert thank you for sharing your wisdom in this 'must-read' book!

This book was a HUGE disappointment. 200 pages of more or less storytelling with NO concrete advice. Takeaway: get proper insurance and invest in index funds. There you go: saved you some money. The author is redirecting all readers to his web portal, which is basically a hook to join his seminars. When I asked fro some concrete advice, on which platofrms and index funds it would be good to invest, I was redirected to sign up for a seminar. I dont really know what answers non Slovene citizens get, since seminar is in Slovenia. I bought a gold package and was disappointed BIG time. Also the bonuses promoted with the gold package were extremely promising, but turned out lousy in a sense that it was all one big commercial.

I attended Rober Rolih's webinar just before the release of the book and while it was informative and interesting I still had doubts. After a while I decided to get the book anyway and am really glad I did. It was easy to read and understand. Before reading it I had no clue about investing at all so I learned quite a bit. I particularly liked the "Real ROI". Great book to get if you're starting with learning about investing and probably if you're somewhat seasoned already too.

I attended few Robert's seminar, and he is definitely the guy who knows's what he is talking. I'm amazed about his decision to help the world learn about investing in this Million dollar decision book. One of the best things I like in the book is authors transparency and honesty about reality that is happening in the financial industry. It doesn't matter if you are already investor or want to become one, this book will save you a lot of money and time.
